The topic of this episode of Literally First Class is taking ownership of ourselves and ignoring the people who are not for us because you can never do the right thing for the wrong crowd. Rihanna’s halftime performance has been the talk of the town lately and with it has come a lot of different opinions. From those who are for her to those who are against her, one thing is for sure; Rihanna wasn’t afraid to express herself.
This is a lesson to be learned for all of us. People will always project their own views and opinions onto whatever you are doing, but it shouldn’t dictate your actions. If you feel like you’ve been holding back your truth, then it’s time to be you and embrace the real you because no matter what you do, there will always be people who are unhappy
If you keep trying to please everyone, you will always end up losing. It’s better to be true to yourself and express what you believe in. Don’t be afraid to be bold and speak your truth.
Rihanna’s performance has a message that we all need to hear. Be who you are and don’t be afraid to express yourself. No matter how many people are for you or against you, the important thing is to show up as you.
